  • Q: Is there a cost to join the chapter?

    A: No! It is completely free to join PDA Delaware Valley. All we ask is that you provide your e-mail address to ensure that you receive notifications about the chapter’s news and events. To join, simply return to the Home page and select the “Join The Local Chapter” option. (Rest assured that your e-mail address will not be provided to a third party).

  • Q: What will be done with my email address?

    A: We respect your privacy, and we promise that your e-mail address will not be shared, sold, or provided to any outside parties.

  • Q: Are the officers paid to run the chapter?

    A: No, the officers and planning committee members are all volunteers. We are a non-profit organization, and direct all of our proceeds towards funding educational events and towards financing scholarships for local science students. In fact, we award more than $10,000 in scholarships each year!

  • Q: What is the dress code for the chapter events?

    A: All of our events are business casual. In addition to dressing appropriately, we also ask that you please drink responsibly if you choose to consume alcohol at one of our events.

  • Q: Do you host interest group meetings?

    A: We periodically organize interest group meetings around a variety of topics. All interest group meetings are free to attend and are designed to be an open forum in which attendees can share their expertise. Please “Join The Local Chapter” to ensure that you receive notifications about our next interest group meeting.
